| The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a joint effort between higher education and publishers to improve the quality and consistency of data reported by colleges and universities. The goal is to develop standard data items and definitions to be used in higher education surveys. The publishers include the College Board, Thompson Peterson’s, and U.S. News & World Report. | A.
