Graduate Neuroscience Training Program



Applications for admission in Fall 2021: Accepting applications for admission
September 1, 2020 – December 1, 2020.


GNTP admission requirements:
  • Relevant BS or BA degree in Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology, or a related or relevant field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) * Mean CUM GPA 3.4 for those admitted to GNTP in 2020
  • Nationally-competitive GRE scores * Mean GRE scores of those admitted to GNTP in 2020 was GRE (V): 155.7, GRE(Q): 156.5, GRE(W): 3.9
  • Three letters of reference, preferably from academic/research advisors

International applicants:
  • Evidence of English proficiency: Unofficial copy of TOEFL score report
  • Course-by-course transcript evaluation which includes a GPA equivalent. A list of approved evaluation agencies can be found here.
We encourage applicants to submit the completed application prior to the December 1 deadline. Applications must include all supporting documentation, and all letters of recommendation must be received by December 1, in order to be sent to the Admissions Committee for review.
