Purpose:  The South Florida Diversity Alliance is committed to promoting collaboration, empowerment, and communication between the campuses and communities in South Florida. This is accomplished through:

• Annual Diversity Summit
• Monthly dialogues
• Diversity-related events
• Scholarship in the field of diversity and social justice
• A collaborative web site providing a clearinghouse for diversity-related information
• Consultation
• Professional speaking and training
• Ongoing outreach

The South Florida Diversity Alliance began with a meeting organized by Nova Southeastern University and Florida Atlantic University. Recognizing the possibilities for collaboration across South Florida, we have since invited others to participate and remain open to all interested parties. SFDA believes we are stronger together than we are alone. In addition to the Department of Justice, Broward county officials, and a host of South Florida community members, the following universities are represented:
