Mission:  The interfaith committee actively promotes interfaith understanding, dialogue, and community service for FAU students, faculty, and staff and alumni.

Objectives:

1. Provide university – wide forums for interfaith understanding and exploration.
   
   
2. Actively encourage religious pluralism in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
   
   
3. Organize an ongoing interfaith student leadership group, co-sponsored by the interfaith committee.
   
   
4. Support interfaith community service projects involving students, faculty, staff and alumni.
   
   
5. Develop a resource list of diverse places of worship in the community where students,
   faculty, and staff are welcome.
   
   
6. Create and maintain an FAU Interfaith Committee website with resources and news of FAU and community events.
   
   
7. Advocate and assist in establishing a meditation/ prayer room for students, staff, faculty and alumni.
