PeopleAdmin Training
You must attend training class before being granted access to the production site of the PeopleAdmin system. The classes may be scheduled in 3 hour intervals either 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. You will receive training from inputting a position description into PeopleAdmin to approving a position description in PeopleAdmin. These classes will allow you to gain a full knowledge of what this online system has to offer.
PeopleAdmin Training – This course is intended for those individuals who will be responsible for beginning the process of entering the position descriptions and job postings within the system as well as those individuals that will have the role as approvers. This course will cover how to enter the information into the system, forward this information on for approvals, approve them and track the information through the process until it reaches Human Resources or Equal Opportunity Programs.
Participants may include office/clerical support positions, any supervisor or administrative, administrators, deans, directors, chairs, associate/assistant directors, managers/supervisors, business managers and office managers. Those individuals not needing system access but who would like an overview of how the system works are also welcome to attend on a space available basis.
Since most employees have been trained, classes will be available on a needs basis and maybe be announced through the HR Weekly, which is sent via email Tuesday of each week (during holidays, date may vary). We do understand that there are circumstances that may require one-on-one trainings. Although one-on-one trainings can be accommodated, group trainings are highly suggested, so please look out for classes in the HR Weekly.
For those of you who have already been trained but would like a refresher, we welcome you as well.
