Reid Morgan brings his background as an engineer and his commitment to sustainability to his position as Physical Plant Director, Broward Campuses.

Over the past five years, we have decreased our use of electricity, largely due to his creative efforts such as motion detector lighting, improved phasing of air conditioning units, and reduction of public area lighting levels to approved standards.

He prides himself in hiring staff with a ‘can do’ attitude and his team will tackle almost any challenge from preparing the modular buildings in Davie for demolition to assisting with the renovation of space at the Fort Lauderdale campus.

Reid worked closely with the School of Urban and Regional Planning to make the solar roof installation possible and now keeps it running.

Additionally, his recycling efforts have cut dumpster runs in half, saving us even more. Because of his hard work and expertise, even with budget cutting, many will tell you that the Broward campuses have never looked better.
