The FAU BPWSH was established to provide campus housing for women with strong academic promise and substantial outside financial assistance in order to attend FAU. The BPWSH is a cooperative living/learning facility where 16 women share leadership experience, develop life skills, and community responsibilities on the Boca Campus.
Community Councils are student groups that meet on a bi-weekly basis and identify social, educational, recreational and cultural needs for programs and activities that are organized throughout the year in each residence hall and apartment complex.
Resident Student Association is the overall governing body for all students in University Housing. The RSA plans events, advocates for students and recommends improvements to the on-campus experience.
NRHH is a national honorary dedicated to recognizing those individuals who work to improve their residence hall, campus, and community. Membership into this organization is very limited in the fact that entry is only available to the top 1% that live on campus nationwide. In short, to get into this organization is a big deal.
