Minor Concentrations

Students have the opportunity to minor in a variety of areas. Minor concentrations require taking a minimum of 15 credits in a discipline. At least 9 of these credits shall be at the upper level, at least 75% of the credits must be taken at FAU, and at least 50% of upper level credits must be from Honors College courses. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA in coursework that counts toward the minor. Students may not receive a minor concentration in the discipline in which they concentrate. Courses may be double-counted for both the minor and the student's concentration only if the courses are specifically required for each. Also, unless specified otherwise, no more than 4 credits of electives may be double-counted for both the minor and the concentration.
