Project Description

The Nemesis is a compact rescue and light work-class Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), designed for the support of manned submersibles and intervention work in the offshore oil & gas industry.  Based on the design of HBOI’s original Panther Rescue ROV, it is a 1000m-rated, 75HP electric-hydraulic vehicle, complete with LARS, TMS, and a state-of-the-art Ethernet-based control system with touch screen interface.  The Nemesis is owned by Deep Marine Technology, Inc., and has been operating in the Gulf of Mexico since 2003.  This project was funded by Deep Marine Technology, Inc.
