The Division of Student Affairs exists to assist students in formulating and achieving their educational goals through formal and informal experiences and through interaction within the University community. All Treasure Coast student service offices are located in the Joint Use Building (JU) in Room 113.The Division of Student Affairs offers services to all students on the Treasure Coast campus. Student Affairs strives to provide a campus environment conducive to learning and one which enhances the quality of life for the student at the University. It includes:
 
Vice President for Student Affairs
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs maintains open communications and a good working relationship among students, faculty, staff and administration. The Vice President is the chief administrative officer for Student Affairs throughout the University.

Dean Of Student Affairs

"Making A Difference One Student At A Time......."
The Dean of Student Affairs office exists to assist students in meeting their educational goals by offering assistance with academic matters, leadership and student development opportunities, through individualized advising.

  • That a student receives proper assistance and or a referral when an extenuating circumstance provents a student from succeeding academically.
  • That leadership, growth and student development opportunities are fostered through an active Greek community, founded on the principles of scholarship, brotherhood/sisterhood, leadership and service.
  • That student accountability and personal responsibility be upheld through the Student Code of Conduct.
  • That through advising and sound financial decisions student government leaders will uphold their mission to offer services and programs for betterment of the student body.
Student services coordinated through this office include Greek Life, Student Government, Health Services, Today and Beyond Wellness Program, Career Development Center, International Students and Scholar Services, the Kenneth R. Williams Leadership Award and the Office for Students with Disabilities. In addition, this office handles student discipline, academic petitions and exceptional circumstance withdrawals and edits the student handbook and student success planner.

Admissions
Full admissions support is offered on the Treasure Coast campus. Admissions staff is available to assist prospective students in their entry into FAU. Admission requirements and transfer credit may be discussed and reviewed by admission personnel.You can also visit University's Admissions webpage.

Counseling Center
The Counseling Office provides services to students whose personal difficulties and problems interfere with their academic adjustment and ability to benefit fully from the University experience. The office helps students with social, emotional and academic concerns in a sensitive, caring and confidential manner.

Office of Financial Aid
The Office of Student Financial Aid offers a comprehensive program of student financial aid including grants, loans, part-time employment and veteran's benefits. Assistance is awarded in compliance with state, federal and University regulations on the basis of financial need and academic merit. The financial aid office at the Treasure Coast campus provides full service to students. Financial aid staff can assist students in applying for financial aid and with questions regarding all aid and scholarship programs. The financial aid process from application to award (if eligible) takes approximately six to eight weeks.
 
Student Development and Activities
Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities and events designed to create and foster community spirit on the Port St. Lucie campus. These activities include social gatherings, recreation and intramural events, lectures on current affairs, musical and comedy performances and movies and other performing arts. The Treasure Coast Program Board is responsible for most of the programming functions on the Treasure Coast campus.

Student Health Services
Health services are available to students attending the Treasure Coast campus. Services are provided by Delo Medical Associates, 538 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984; (772) 871-5900. Services include primary care and first aid for all students. For additional information, call Student Services at (772) 873-3301.
 
Student Lounge
The student lounge on the Treasure Coast campus is located in the Joint Use Building. It contains a Subway restaurant, vending machines, comfortable tables and chairs, a copy machine and an outdoor patio. This area is generally used for campus social activities. Another lounge with a pool table and vending machine is located in the SL Building, room 109.
Volunteer Services
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available though volunteer services on the Treasure Coast campus. Volunteering is an excellent way to gain work experience and to give back to your community.
