The FAU Graduate College is a service college with aims of supporting graduate programs and student success. We hope you will visit the site often and also follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Click here for a copy of the Grad Talk newsletter. You are welcome to follow me on Twitter: @FAUDrDeb. The spring 2014 semester is well underway, bringing a host of new opportunities for academic and professional development. As we approach mid-term, upcoming workshops about stress management and healthy communication may be especially timely. Additionally, Responsible Conduct of Research workshops about human subjects research and expectations will be useful for students conducting research and required for students working on NIH and NSF funded research, but is open for any graduate student to attend. Stay tuned for details about upcoming workshops regarding dissertation and thesis writing, publishing and scholarly writing and other important topics. All workshops are free of charge to FAU graduate students, click here for information about registering.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the 5th Annual Graduate and Professional Research Day on Friday, April 4th. Sponsored by the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), Research Day is an excellent opportunity for graduate and professional students to showcase their research and receive constructive feedback from faculty and peers. Click here for more information.
