The Graduate College, in partnership with the Division of Research, offers a series of workshops each fall and spring semester on the Responsible Conduct of Research for all currently-enrolled graduate students at FAU. The workshops are led by FAU faculty and cover the nine instructional areas of RCR.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) is strongly recommended for all students working on NSF or NIH-funded programs.

Spend a “Semester by the Sea” (SBTS) at FAU’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute. Registration begins on November 15, 2014 and ends January 10, 2015. FAU Harbor Branch provides an unforgettable learning environment that couples small class sizes, hands-on lab instruction and intensive field studies in subtropical marine ecosystems. Are you a scientist (masters students through senior faculty) who would benefit from science communication training? Coastal scientists are invited to compete for a spot in a citizen-led urban environmental restoration project, a partnership between the U.S. and Jamaica. Participating scientists will train through the Frost Museum of Science communication fellows program, an initiative originating with National Science Foundation funding.
