Application Status
Once your graduate application materials have been received and processed, you can check your graduate application status online through OWLS (Online Web Link Services). This allows you to view what documentation we have received, as well as any outstanding items required for us to make an admission decision.
Note: Due to the high volume of applications, it may take up to two weeks for your accurate application status to be reflected online.
What is my Z number?
The Z number is a unique student ID number used to identify you in the FAU system. Students will use Z numbers instead of social security numbers for identification purposes throughout the university from now on. Make sure you enter the capital letter 'Z' when you are entering your Z number (example: Z12345678).
How do I find my Z number?
To find your Z number, click here. If you still have a problem obtaining your assigned Z number, please contact us after you have submitted your application.
I don't know my PIN, or the PIN I tried did not work. Now what do I do?
Your Admissions PIN should be set to your date of birth MMDDYY. Make sure you enter in the 2-digit birth month, 2-digit day of birth and the 2-digit year of birth (MMDDYY). If it still does not work, please contact the Graduate College to have your PIN reset to your birth date (MMDDYY).
