We are pleased to announce the release of the revised Graduate Thesis and Dissertation Guidelines. This document contains many improved features to better assist you in the manuscript preparation process.
Students planning to graduate Summer 2014 may follow either the new or the old guidelines. All graduate students completing their manuscripts for Fall 2014 graduation or later are expected to follow the revised Graduate Thesis and Dissertation Guidelines.
Publishing and binding fee information for dissertations and manuscripts are included in the submission checklist below.
The Graduate College offers periodic workshops on Thesis and Dissertation writing and how to properly format a Thesis or Dissertation in Microsoft Word.
During Summer 2014, workshops on formatting thesis and dissertation manuscripts in Microsoft Word will be held at the following dates/times:
- Wednesday, May 21, 4:00—5:30 p.m., Fleming Hall (FL) Room 409, Boca Raton campus
- Thursday, May 29, 4:00—5:30 p.m., Fleming Hall (FL) Room 409, Boca Raton campus
- Friday, May 30, 9:30--11:00 a.m., Fleming Hall (FL) Room 409, Boca Raton campus

The Degree Completion staff members within the Graduate College are available to assist students with formatting questions and University regulations pertaining to a thesis or dissertation. However, they do not provide editing services. The Degree Completion staff is available by appointment only. To schedule assistance with your manuscript, please email GraduateWriting@fau.edu.
