Florida Atlantic University's Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) advocates for the unique voices/needs of graduate-professional students through a unified and representative body with programs such as travel grants, research grants, workshops, social events, networking opportunities, as well as representation on university committees. Each year, GPSA hosts a Research Day, in which Graduate Students are eligible to display their research to fellow students, staff, faculty, and the committee of FAU.
All FAU degree-seeking graduate students are invited to present their research in poster format to expert faculty judges. Prizes for top poster presentations include:
- The top two poster presentations from each of five research categories will receive a $200 scholarship award, medal, and certificate (10 winners total)
- Two poster presentations will be selected for a Community Engagement Scholarship ranging from $150-$300.
- All winners will receive an invitation to present their research at the Conference for Florida Graduate Schools Statewide Research Symposium* on April 19, 2019 at Florida International University. Round-trip travel to FIU campus will be provided and registration costs will be fully funded for all invited students. *Detailed event information is still pending and may vary.
