GTA Workshop
The Graduate College in cooperation with the Graduate Student Association and the Office of Undergraduate Studies, is pleased to offer a series of Graduate Teaching Assistant workshops over the next several months. Each session is designed to provide you with timely and important information on how to become a better instructor, deal with difficult situations, manage the various responsibilities in the classroom or laboratory, prepare and grade exams and homework with fairness and consistency, and use various technologies to enhance student learning.
The next workshop is scheduled for November 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in General Classroom North, Room 101. The session will be given by Jeff Galin on "Engaged Critical Reading and Writing".
In order to properly plan for the November 15 workshop, we ask that you please register on-line for the event by November 12. Please note that the registration is limited to 295 persons due to the seating capacity of the room.
