Mission & Activities
The Office of International Programs (OIP) coordinates, supports, and encourages international education activities for the students, faculty, and colleges of Florida Atlantic University (FAU). OIP serves the undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and departments of all nine colleges on FAU’s seven different campuses. OIP strives for academic excellence and superior service to the FAU community as we:
--send FAU students on approved study abroad and exchange programs
--help FAU faculty create short term study abroad programs
--negotiate international agreements with leading educational institutions in other
countries
--advise student and faculty on fellowship and grant opportunities for overseas
study and research
--support FAU colleges, faculty, and academic leaders in advancing FAU strategic
goals in international education
OIP is a unit in the Division of Undergraduate Studies within Academic Affairs, and works closely with administrative and student service centers and programs across FAU.
