Education Abroad offers programming for prospective, current, and returning study abroad students, as well as the campus community.  Join us to internationalize your experience at FAU!  Information regarding additional university-wide international events can be found on the Center for Global Engagement webpage.

AUGUST

INCOMING INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE ORIENTATION 
This orientation is available to incoming J-1 visa students who are attending FAU as part of Education Abroad approved exchanges. Attendees will meet University staff and students while learning about the many academic, extracurricular, and support services available to them during their time at FAU. GILMAN SCHOLARSHIP WORKSHOP

Are you a U.S. citizen receiving a Pell Grant with an interest in pursuing study abroad? Join us to learn more about the many benefits of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program—an opportunity which provides up to $5,000 for approved study abroad programs. Participants will learn best practices for developing and submitting a successful application from a Gilman Scholar and scholarship panelist. For more information, please contact goabroad@fau.edu.

International Education Week is celebrated nationwide as a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State.  FAU will be hosting a variety of internationally-themed events across the campuses to students, staff, faculty, and the community to honor international education and exchange worldwide!
