Advising & Appointments

Education Abroad is excited to provide guidance and support from study abroad interest to alumni status.  There are various different options for students depending on where they are at in the process.  Below you will find a helpful guide regarding the group and individual advising services so you can plan your next step!

For students just starting on their study abroad journey, group advising will be their first stop!  By attending an hour group advising session, students can learn about programs options, eligibility, the application process, scholarships, and next steps.  Once they have completed this step, they will be ready to meet one-on-one for study abroad advising.  All group advising takes place on the Boca Campus.

*For business students only: If you are a pre-business or a declared business major, minor, or certificate student interested in studying abroad and have not met with Tania Tucker (Education Abroad Advising) and Matthew Butler (College of Business), sign up for College of Business group advising prior to making an individual appointment on the Boca Campus.

Once you’ve attended a group advising session and decided on a program, make an appointment to meet one-on-one with a study abroad advisor to develop your study abroad plan for finances, funding, coursework, and more.

*For students studying off the main Boca Raton Campus, individual advising is available onsite at the Jupiter Campus and virtually for all other campuses.
