	Ruth Gomez–Ruiz GRAPHIC DESIGN “As a graphic designer, I explore new dimensions in visual language. The digital tools before me serve to rearrange, distort, and manipulate objects in culturally meaningful manners. My sensitivity lies in the potential of elements such as: negative space, the contrasts between two or more images, and the relationship among shapes and their placement. Within these little crevasses, I find new points of reference that lead to new insights.Art as Information is what I explore.”

	Brittany Hanks PAINTING “My work deals with the formal connections between objects. I am interested in juxtaposing bits and pieces taken from different objects that when added together, flow in a natural, organic manner. Interested in studying those similarities through careful rendering, I tend to get lost in documenting the reflections and facets of what I am studying as I work. In their completion, I view my works as delicate sums of their parts.”

Themes often gallop across my humanity, stopping momentarily to scratch an itch. Color means the most and I use it often. Exhilarated, I fracture the picture plane and delve into spatial abstraction with fluid forms, as my inner steel become the metaphors for the gifts I ride.”
