Fall 2016 Learn 2 Lead | November 5, 2016

Learn 2 Lead Institute is a program held for emerging leaders in Fraternity & Sorority Life

Check back soon for information on the Fall 2017 Learn 2 Lead program!

Learn 2 Lead is a one-day program designed for anyone who is interested in starting something extraordinary. It is geared toward emerging leaders in the F/S community. The first Learn 2 Lead institute held in Fall 2012 was adapted from the LeaderShape (www.leadershape.org) Catalyst program.

Participating in Learn 2 Lead is a first step in the life-long process of learning, exploration, action.

The program is designed to allow participants the time and space to consider powerful questions that move them toward action. Compelling questions like: Am I on the right path? Who do I want to be? How can I connect with other like-minded individuals? This day may not provide participants the answers to these questions but rather create a community in which participants can engage in meaningful conversations with each. Throughout the day, participants will be identifying their strengths as well as the strengths of the members of their community. They will discuss how these contributions can move them into action. Since this an all f/s audience, the FAU Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life will be leading a conversation on using fraternal values as the foundation of action.

Here are additional details on the experience:

  • Registration must be done on-line, in advance of the program and in collaboration with your chapter since they will only have X amount of spots for this program.
  • Participants are expected to stay for the duration of the entire program (i.e. you cannot come and go, as you please).
  • There is no cost for chapters or participants.
  • All participants will be expected to adhere to a substance free commitment.

This is a program our community has utilized over the last four years. For more information regarding Learn 2 Lead contact fslife@fau.edu .
