Purpose:  The women of Theta Phi Alpha share a common purpose. Our mission is to create close comradeship, to advance educational, social and philanthropic interests and leadership training; to encourage spiritual development and adherence to the highest moral standards; and to promote lifelong bonds of friendship.

  • Theta Phi Alpha is the oldest Panhellenic sorority on campus, founded at FAU on November 23, 1991
  • Campus Events: Theta Phi Cutie Pie benefitting the American Heart Association, Tea for Tatas and Batting out Breast Cancer supporting the Lisa Boccard Foundation
  • Theta Phi Alpha won overall Academic Excellence for sororities at the 2014 Standards of Excellence Banquet
  • Highest Panhellenic GPA on campus in Spring 2014 
  • Winner of Phi Mu's Annual Sir Fidel Cup in Spring 2014 and Spring 2016
  • Winner of Alpha Epsilon Pi's AEPi Princess competition in Spring 2013, 2016, and 2017
  • Winner of Sigma Chi's Derby Days Competition 2016
  • Winner of Pi Kappa Phi's Rose Queen Pageant Spring 2015 and 2016
  • In 2016 alone Theta Phi Alpha raised over $12,000 for their local philanthropies, The Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Foundation and the American Heart Association, as well as taking home National Recognition at 2012 Convention for their local efforts
