| This course will teach you how to understand, recognize and substantially reduce problems that arise on large construction projects. You will learn about the basics of planning and contracting for a construction project to assure that you will complete the project on time and on budget, saving money in the process by reducing conflicts and disputes. You will learn how to control cost, quality and time thus reducing costly delays.
Jerome Reiss is a graduate of Harvard Law School, listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World; and is a Founding Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers. He has been involved since 1954 in the practice of the law devoted to construction, real estate, and supply contract matters representing government, private owners, developers, contractors, sureties, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Among his extensive list of clients are: The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Foundation, Developers Samuel L. LeFrack, Donald Trump, Rose Associates, et. al., Mount Sinai Hospital of New York, Mount Sinai Hospital of Hartford, Aetna Insurance Co., Fireman's Fund, Travelers and many more.
