Hurricane on Display at the ODC

His life travels took him from Miami Seaquarium to the Cincinnati Zoo and then to Silver Glen Springs.Now, the skeleton of Hurricane the Manatee is permanently on display at FAU Harbor Branch's Ocean Discovery Center. HBOI volunteers Bill Stewart and Nat Huggins spent  a year reconstructing Hurricane's bones. Last week, employees Jeremy Ledlow, Tod Smitley and Dave Buryanek (along with Dr. Jim Masterson) carefully hung Hurricane alongside the ODC's other marine mammal skeleton exhibits.
