The University Galleries in Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters has announced the 2013-14 Exhibition Schedule. All exhibitions will take place in the Schmidt Center Gallery, Ritter Art Gallery, or Schmidt Center Gallery Public Space, Boca Raton campus.
The 2013 Biennial Faculty Art Exhibition, which runs from Saturday, Sept. 21 – Saturday, Dec. 7, will feature a wide range of recent artworks by faculty teaching in the Department of Visual Arts and Art History; School of Communication and Multimedia Studies; School of Architecture; and Jaffe Center for Book Arts. SouthXeast: Contemporary Southeastern Art, which runs from Saturday, Nov. 2. - April 2014 marks the fourth edition of this exhibition, the only regularly occurring curated exhibition in Florida that represents a selection of innovative art made by artists living in the southeastern United States. Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race, running from Saturday, Dec.14 – Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 is a traveling exhibition produced by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and is presented at FAU in conjunction with the Center for Holocaust and Human Rights. Other exhibitions include the Fall Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition, the Spring Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition, the MFA Graduate Thesis Exhibition, the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County ImageMakers Photography Exhibition, and Juried Student Exhibition.
