The American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment is an effort to address global warming by garnering institutional commitments to neutralize greenhouse gas emissions, and to accelerate the research and educational efforts of higher education to equip society to re-stabilize the earth’s climate.
In August, FAU President Frank T. Brogan signed the commitment, designating FAU as a Charter Signatory. Nearly 350 colleges and universities have signed to date.
The first step for signatories is to create the institutional structures to guide and develop their plans. We invite you to use the links at left as a resource as the University's plan takes shape.
