Small Engine Shop

• Consisting of two mechanics, the primary duty of this Division is the maintenance of all Grounds Division equipment including mowers, tractors, trucks, utility vehicles and gas and electric powered smaller handheld tools and equipment. If necessary, outside vendors are also used

Golf Cart Maintenance

• The Transportation Division is responsible for golf cart repairs and maintenance, either in-house or through an outside vendor.

Campus Vehicle Maintenance

• The Transportation Division is responsible for the basic maintenance of state-owned vehicles, such as the FAU campus Police cars and departmental vehicles, performing minor maintenance and repairs. For large mechanical repairs, these vehicles are sent by the Division to outside vendors.
