Students Ratify New Student Government Constitution

Students:

Thank you for voting on your new Student Government Constitution. The constitution was ratified by 87% of those students who voted. You may view the draft of the new constitution by clicking here.

The constitution now goes to the University's Board of Trustees for a ratification vote. For students, the next stage in the revision process is the writing of the new statutes that will govern the day-to-day functions of Student Government, including allocation of your activities and student services fees, estimated to be $6.5 million. Remember, these fees are used to fund University-wide facilities, programs and activities that benefit all of you. Please e-mail one of us if you are interested in being part of this next stage.

Sincerely,

Austin Shaw
