Mary Faraci

A Professor of English at Florida Atlantic University since 1972, Mary Faraci received a PhD in English at the University of Florida. She served as a Fulbright lecturer in Romania from 1982 to 1984. Her postdoctoral studies include two NEH summer seminars and three sessions at the School of Criticism and Theory. She teaches linguistics and British literature at the Jupiter campus where she serves as an advisor. Her early publications include essays on Dante, Jane Austen, and Saul Bellow. Among her recent research interests are J.R.R. Tolkien’s critical essays, Christina Rossetti’s poems, and the almost thirty Barsetshire novels of Angela Thirkell.
