Eric Berlatsky received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003. He teaches twentieth century British literature, literary theory, postcolonial literature, postmodern literature, and comic books. His research involves the relationship of postmodern theory, historiography, and ethics to postmodern fiction. His articles have appeared in The Journal of Narrative Theory, Cultural Critique, Dickens Studies Annual,and Virginia Woolf: Across the Generations, an online book.He also has an article forthcoming in Arizona Quarterly on race in Paul Auster’s New YorkTrilogy.
