Four University public laboratory schools also provide the practical experience they’ll need, as well as invaluable research opportunities. Why Is FAU College Of Education Your Child’s Best Choice?

You want a curriculum that assures them a strong foundation, yet embraces important new teaching innovations shaping the profession’s future. Both provide aspiring educators with important advantages to build a successful career.

We offer four core educational career paths: Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Exceptional Student Education, and Early Care & Education, taught across our Boca, Jupiter and Davie campuses.

  • COE is the first in Florida to receive accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the single specialized accreditor for educator preparation in the United States. The college was also awarded a $4.3 million grant to establish a Center of Excellence for Elementary Teacher Preparation.
  • Our four public laboratory schools serve as a demonstration site for teacher education; a resource for curriculum development; and a place to conduct research.
  • Our Student Advisors provide personalized guidance and can make sure your child stays on track to achieve their graduation requirements and career objectives.
