March 30 Wednesday Lecture Series: Follow Up
The 3rd Wednesday Lecture series of the spring semester was yet another smashing success! Attendees were treated to a glimpse of the on-going research projects of Dr. David Prosperi and Dr. Joyce Levine.
Dr.Levine's "Haitians in Crisis" was an exploration into the lives of Haitians and the common struggles they face in striving to improve their own economic prosperity and general welfare within a global environment.
Dr. David Prosperi discussed the research topic "Occupational Structures and Creative Economies: Form 2003." This research while still in its preliminary stage, exemplified its potential in obtaining much needed insight into the "Creative Economy" by using statistical analyses of employment sectors to better define form and structure.
FAPS would like to thank the presenters, faculty, staff, students, and all attendees for their continued support in making the lecture series a worthwhile event.
