The College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) is required for all
non-exempt college students in Florida public colleges and universities.
The
CLAST test is similar to the GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (GK) exam for those
wishing to receive Florida teaching certification. Our instructor is an expert
in both tests. The CLAST is an achievement test that measures selected
communication and mathematics skills adopted by the State Board of
Education. The CLAST test consists of four subtests: Essay, Reading
Comprehension, English Language Skills and Mathematics. Test Prep
has developed two structured test preparation courses that will help you
with all aspects of the tests—CLAST/GK Math and CLAST/GK Verbal. If you
want a structured, non-threatening learning environment with experienced
instructors, Test Prep’s CLAST/GK classroom course is for you!
For FAU students, there are no refunds without written verification from the
FAU Testing Center that you are exempt from the CLAST exam.
CLAST (CPT) /GK Math will cover all aspects of the math portion of the test:
• Arithmetic
• Algebra
• Geometry
• Logic
• Statistics
• Probability
