Philosophy

Henry L. Ruf, Ph.D., a Korean War veteran, holds a B.A. from Macalester College and master’s and doctoral degrees from Emory University. He did graduate work at Harvard Divinity School and Cornell University. He has taught philosophy, humanities, and literary theory at Boston University, SUNY Oswego, West Virginia University, Truman State University and Florida Atlantic University (FAU). He has been a Fulbright Lecturer in Japan, Thailand, China, Tibet and Pakistan. Published books include “Moral Investigations,” “Investigating Philosophy,” “Postmodern Rationality, Social Criticism, and Religion” and “World Religions in a Postmodern Age.”
