Kristin McGlothlin

 Art Appreciation

Kristin McGlothlin has an M.A. in English Literature and a B.A. in Art History. She served as the Assistant Curator of Education at the Norton Museum of Art. She directed all in-house art and music programs, summer internship program and the museum’s community outreach program. She taught fine art, multicultural, and arts-integrated classes. Ms. McGlothlin was an instructor at the Armory Art Center for their summer art program. She has written a number of essays on Edward Gorey, including her M.A. thesis, and presented her paper “Storybook Illustrations and Edward Gorey” at the 2013 Children’s Literature Association Annual Conference. This year, she plans to write an Edward Gorey collection catalogue for FAU’s Jaffe Center for Book Arts.
