Wesley Borucki, Ph.D.

Wesley Borucki, Ph.D., a native of Detroit, Michigan, is in his eleventh year as an assistant professor of American history at Palm Beach Atlantic University. His specialties are the Antebellum South and Civil War and Reconstruction. In 2002, he received his Ph.D. in American history from the University of Alabama where he edited the annual journal Southern Historian.

Dr. Borucki has written a biography of President George H. W. Bush for Nova Science Publisherís First Men, Americaís Presidents series. He has given presentations to local history groups as part of the Alabama Humanities Foundationís Speakers Bureau and has spoken locally before the Palm Beach chapters of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Society of Colonial Wars. He received his masterís degree in American history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his bachelorís degree in history from Michigan State University.
