The years of Franklin D. Roosevelt in the Presidency (1933-1945) are the years of the Great Depression and the Second World War. We will trace the development of the New Deal reform programs from 1933 to 1938, the leadership of FDR in the battle over American entrance into World War II and the war efforts and diplomacy which made America a world power. We will see his greatness and his shortcomings as President and the contributions he made to Presidential leadership.
