Presenting programs for LLS

Program Information

If you are registered for LLS programs that go through April 9th, please note that any LLS Parking Hang-tags with an expiration date of March 15, 2015 will be honored through April 10, 2015

Online Registration for Winter 2015 is now open. This service is for members only, but you can automatically become a member, or renew your membership at the same time that you are registering online. Go to to register today.

If you have not received your confirmation and FAU hangtag by mail, they will be waiting for you at your first session. Please check at the desk in the Gilman Lobby of the Friedberg Auditorium.

If you do not have a permanent LLS photo ID card it is important that you get your photo taken in the Gilman Lobby of the Friedberg Auditorium before the start of your program, because this permanent ID card will function as your entrance card to all your LLS events.

The Winter 2015 Schedule Book is on the LLS website. Online registration will be available for members only at that time at: The schedule book was mailed to LLS members the end of October.

The Lifelong Learning Society Winter-Spring 2015 Schedule is available at libraries in Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach. Please call your local branch to confirm availability.

Member/Non-Member Walk-in Registrations:

Beginning Monday, December 1, prior to the start of the Winter term, members and non-members may register in person by coming to the Gilman Lobby of the Barry and Florence Friedberg Lifelong Learning Auditorium between 9 am and 4 pm. Registrations WILL NOT be accepted before this date. NO EXCEPTIONS. Non-member registrations sent in prior to this date will not be processed until December 1, and only if space is available.


Clifton Daniel‘s one-time lecture (WPL0212) Just a Couple of Haberdashers:  Harry Truman, Eddie Jacobson and the Recognition of Israel from 4:15 – 6 pm is   “SOLD OUT”.

Arnold Ages‘ lecture series (W443AH) The Jews of France: From Rashi to Vishy and beyond  is  “SOLD OUT”.

Dr. Robert Rabil, one-time lecture “Israel, Russia and the Middle East: A new Cold War?” WPL331 “SOLD OUT”.

Dr. Robert P. Watson, one-time lecture “The Nazi Titanic,” WPL333, “SOLD OUT”.

The start of Arthur Garcia's Wednesday series on "Who Wrote the Hebrew Scriptures" W343BH scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 4th will begin instead the following Wednesday, February 11th and extend to Wednesday, March 4th.

This program is “SOLD OUT” -- this announcement is intended for those already registered for this series.


Professor Benton Becker’s lecture series (W481H) Constitutional Rights as interpreted by the Supreme Court is “CANCELLED”.

Ann Helen Wainer, W443BH lecture series, Extraordinary Foreign Women in Brazilian Land is “CANCELLED”.
