Orientation 2008

Fall 2008 August 19 - 24, 2008
Schedule

Family Day on-line payment

The Honors College Student Orientation prepares you for a successful start to your academic career at Florida Atlantic University. By attending the Honors College Orientation program, you will learn about unique requirements and services that are available as we welcome you to the HC family. It is a time to meet new students as well as learn from current students, faculty and administrators. Find out what the HC community life is all about and what you need to succeed! Orientation is your opportunity to develop lasting relationships, acclimate to the HC campus, and experience lifelong memories.
The mandatory orientation program is planned to introduce you to the Honors College community, faculty staff, and students. Social and informative college activities are scheduled to help ease your transition into college life.

Fall 2008 Orientation begins Tuesday, August 19, 2008 with Family Day: students may check in starting at 8 a.m. and students and parents attend information sessions during the day. Activities and advising take place for students the rest of the week, and classes at the Honors College begin on August 25, 2008.

Pre-Orientation 2008

During Orientation in August, students will be able to have all their questions answered and get ready for the start of classes. Students wishing to come to campus prior to the Fall orientation to ask questions about financial aid, fees or academic programs, tour the campus and residence hall, or get their photo I.D. early, may come to an informal "Pre-orientation" on June 26 or June 27, when staff will be available. Pre-orientation does not replace Orientation in August.

Of course you are more than welcome to contact or visit us at any time throughout the summer:
