The Wilkes Honors College Honors Summer Institute in Creativity is intended for rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in developing new aspects of their originality and creative processes. Students will enroll in one of two college-level courses — either “Science, Alchemy, and Magic in the Age of Shakespeare” (for students with an interest in literature) or “Art and Digital Imagery” (for students with an interest in multimedia) — designed to combine critical analysis of major creative works with abundant opportunities for students to demonstrate their own creativity. Field trips and social events complement serious academic work to provide a rich and challenging academic experience.
