Costs

We anticipate the cost to attend the Honors Summer Institute in 2010 will be $2,500. This figure covers a private bedroom in an Honors College residence hall suite, full meal plan, and enrichment activities. Eligible Florida students who dual enroll do not need to pay additional tuition costs. Eligibility requirements for dual enrollment are online. Florida residents who do not qualify for dual enrollment must pay an additional tuition fee of approximately $365. Out-of-state students must pay an additional tuition fee of approximately $1,680. These figures are subject to change and do not include incidental costs such as books, parking fee, and personal expenses.

Refunds and Deposits
Once you have been accepted, in order to hold your place in the program, we need to receive a non-refundable deposit and signed forms by the deadlines stipulated (May 23rd for $540 deposit and July 1st for the remaining balance). Please note that your enrollment into the program is contingent upon you returning all your forms, deposit, and any remaining balance by the due dates assigned. Your enrollment is also contingent upon you reviewing the rules and regulations of the program in your registration packet and acknowledging that you will accept their terms. Refunds will not be given to a student who is sent home from the program for violation of public law or the rules and regulations of the HSI program, or FAU. Refunds will not be offered to any student who chooses to withdraw from the program less than one week before the program has begun. If an enrolled student becomes too ill to continue the program, no refund can be offered.
