The Wilkes Honors College is pleased to announce Summer Study Abroad Grants. Up to four grants, each of $500, will be awarded to eligible Honors College students to support an approved study abroad program over the Summer A or C term.
Who is eligible? Full-time Wilkes Honors College students in good academic standing with financial need who will be enrolled in an FAU-Sponsored study abroad program for the Summer A or Summer C term. The study abroad must count towards the Honors College's study abroad/internship requirement (minimum of 5 weeks and 3 credit hours). Students must also have a direct deposit authorization on file. In addition, scholarship recipients must also have a study abroad application on file with the Office of International Programs.
How do I apply? Applicants must (1) have a current FAFSA form on file; (2) have an FAU Financial Aid Summer form on file: this is available on myfau under 'money matters'; (3) submit an online grant application form, below.
When is the deadline to apply? To be assured of consideration for a summer study abroad grant, students must submit all parts of the application by April 4th. After that, applications will be considered on a rolling basis until all grants have been awarded.

Additional Requirement: Honors College Study Abroad Grant recipients must give a presentation about the study abroad experience during the fall semester. Typically, this presentation will be part of International Education Week events (third week in November), although other opportunities may be available as well. The Director of Student Affairs will contact the students in the beginning of the fall semester.
