Writing Placement (2008):





In order to pass out of the ENC1123 requirement a student must have EITHER 

an ACT score of 30 or higher in Engl, OR

an ACT score of 30 or higher in Reading, OR 

an SAT "READ" score of 680 or above 

Students with transfer credit for ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 get credit for 2 Gordon rule courses, and need not take ENC 1123: we credit them with having taken the equivalent of ENC 1123.
