Dr. O'Brien's interests include environment
and development issues in tropical settings,
political ecology, environmental discourses,
environmentalist perspectives, and debates
surrounding the concept of sustainable
development. Dr. O'Brien comes to the Honors
College from Radford University where he
was Assistant Professor in the Department
of Geography.
