Dr. Rachel Corr has undertaken ethnographic fieldwork in Salasaca and other areas of Ecuador since 1990. Her research interests are in the areas of religious experience, sacred geography, Quichua narratives, ritual, shamanism and ethnohistory of the North Andes. Her current research focuses on the colonial history of Ambato, Ecuador.
