Dr. Moore's areas of research include the ecology, evolution, and distribution of fishes, and the biology of deep-sea animals. He also has interests in the conservation and biodiversity of scrub and flatwood habitats in Florida, and herpetology (especially tortoises and lizards). Dr. Moore came to the Honors College from both Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and National Marine Fisheries Service where he was a Visiting Scientist.
