Tuition Deposit

FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS ONLY:

All admitted first-year students must confirm their intention to secure their place in the entering class by submitting the required $200.00 admissions tuition deposit. The deposit will be applied to your tuition and other expenses for the term to which you have been admitted; it is nonrefundable should you choose not to enroll.  The only students exempt from this requirement are applicants who received an SAT or ACT fee waiver. In addition, if your FAFSA data demonstrates significant financial need, you may make arrangements with the Office of Admissions to waive the tuition deposit.
Please note: The tuition deposit is separate from the residence hall deposit required by the Department of Housing and Residential Life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Deadline:
The deadline to submit your deposit and confirm your enrollment is August 1 for the fall term. If you are offered admission after the deadline, your deposit must be paid within two weeks from the date of your acceptance letter. The tuition deposit must be paid prior to Orientation.

Payment:
Online payment via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AmEx) is the preferred method of payment. The Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University is using an online store to collect the $200.00 tuition deposit; fill out an order form, add the tuition deposit to the cart, and then proceed to Checkout (payment.)  A billing address is required and is used by the Office of Admissions to match the tuition deposit to the appropriate applicant.  (In the case of siblings, each order is for one tuition deposit.)
