Every student admitted to the Wilkes Honors College is awarded a merit-based scholarship.
Most of these awards are made at the time of admission and are based on a review of the application materials. Refer to the table below for details. Questions concerning these awards may be directed to the Office of Admissions. See also our Financial Aid/Scholarships page.

Henry Morrison Flagler Scholarship
Download & submit nomination form and essay in addition to the complete Wilkes Honors College admissions application package.

More information is available online. For incoming Freshman only.
Exceeds $55,000 over four years.
National Science Foundation Science Scholarships
  Must be a Biology or Chemistry Major, and have financial need. Students must fill out a FAFSA form, online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov

  up to $10,000 per year for up to 4 years.
Dean's Scholarship
  National Merit, National Achievement, or National Hispanic Finalist, admission to the Honors College.   $7,500 per year
International Baccalaureate Awards (up to 7 available)   Incoming Freshman, Completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the recommendation of the I.B. coordinator or counselor, admission to the Honors College   $5,000 per year Renewable for an additional three years.
Leadership Awards (5 available)   Incoming Freshman, Outstanding leadership experience, admission to the Honors College   $5,000 per year Renewable for an additional three years.
Honors Scholarship   Admission to the Honors College.   Up to $5,000 per year.
* Freshman awards are renewable for an additional three years.

Tuition Waivers

We have a limited number of tuition waivers available to non-Florida residents.

Need-based Financial Aid

In addition to awarding academic scholarships based on merit, the Wilkes Honors College can assist students in receiving additional financial aid based on need.
