Florida Collegiate Honors Council Conference 2012

February 23-26, 2012

 
Honors College students:  Showcase your research, or enter a writing contest, as part of the 2012 Florida Collegiate Honors Council Conference held this year in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.  
 
Presentation Proposal - Internal Deadline is 5 pm, December 2, 2011

Students who wish to present their research as part of a panel of student presenters must complete the form below by 5 pm, Dec. 2. Presentations may take the form of poster presentation of your research, a roundtable of students discussing a topic, an informative or research presentation, or an interactive workshop.

Writing Contest - Internal Deadline is 12 pm, December 2, 2011
Writing Contest with cash awards of $100-$200. Deadline is noon, Dec. 2. Hosted by the Florida Collegiate Honors Council. The categories are documented research (fresh/soph; junior/senior), poetry, and fiction. Entries must strictly adhere to the Contest guidelines or they will not be considered. Submit your submission by email as a Word document attachment to: tunick@fau.edu, by noon, Dec. 2.
In your email you MUST indicate: your name, email, phone, address, the category in which you are submitting, a statement indicating you agree to the conditions of the writing contest, and the submission title. Incomplete or late entries cannot be considered. Submissions must have no grammatical errors.
The top 3 papers in each category will be selected by a faculty committee and submitted to the FCHC contest judges. Winners must attend the awards ceremony during the Florida Collegiate Honors Conference.
