Tamara came to the Honors College in the Fall of 2007 from Wildwood High School (Wildwood, FL).  She likes the Honors College because “it’s the perfect college to challenge me intellectually and prepare me for graduate school.”  Tamara is interested in Mathematical Sciences and has been involved in many campus organizations including Resident Student Association, All Around Talent, Community Corps, Feminist Student Union, Alpha Phi Omega, Theater in the Raw, Council of Student Organizations, and the prOWLers of Jupiter.  Her favorite aspect of the college is the relationship among the faculty, staff, and students.  “Being able to start a discussion with almost anyone I see is wonderful and I couldn’t get the same experience at another school.”
